Yes, we can apply on the short stay visa such as tourist and business trip ones.

No, we would like to welcome our customers at customers convenient timing, but if you can tell us your visiting in advance, that would help us with serving you better.

No, we have pre-made stocks in our shop and most of them are one of a kind ones so they are not sold at the online shop.

If you like the design and the fitting, you can take them away on the same day.

About products

A: TOKYO KIMONO SHOES wear one-of-a-kind kimonos and obi that are upcycled, and we develop shoe models for each one. The kimono and obi photos on the product page are used, and the best part to be worn by the shoes are selected by our designer.

How to measure your foot

A: Regarding the length, we use a mold according to cm. It refers to the distance of the line at right angles from the wall (the start point of the heel) to the fingertips of the longest leg with the heel of the foot attached to the vertical wall.  

In order to choose the shoes that suit you, we strongly recommend that you take measurements in advance.

Size Chart

A: Kimono is made of pure silk. If you spray it with waterproof about once a week, it will be less likely to get dirty . In addition, as same as the other leather sneakers, please refrain from getting wet. →See the details of maintenance

A: Since they are made of leather, please refrain from using them on rainy days. In addition, in order to prevent stains caused by water, we recommend maintenance with frequent waterproof spray as described in the above question. Also, since it is natural leather, color transfer in the shoe may occur due to water exposure.

About Delivery

Inside Japan:  

・Product purchase of 5000 yen or more: Free  

・Product purchase 5000 yen or less: 550 yen flat rate  

 Overseas:  

・Depends on each region and weight  

・It will be automatically caliculated at the time of check out. 

【Notes on overseas delivery】  

・ Shipping fee is automatically calculated by the system for each weight at checkout  

・ Delivery method is DHL and EMS international air parcel service to deliver to countries around the world.  

・ Customs duties in the destination country, consumption tax in the destination country, inspection fee, long-term storage cost due to non-delivery, and other expenses incurred in the destination country will be paid by the customer to the delivery company or any other related organizations. 

A: By air parcel service with a tracking number such as DHL Express and EMS. We will select depending on the region and country.

A: For pre-order products (made-to-order products), it takes up to 2 months to pre-order ~ ship.  

Please check the order acceptance period, production period, and shipping start date on each product page before purchasing.  

The delivery period varies depending on the country, but it will arrive at the airport in your country in about 5~10 days after shipping from Japan.

We are afraid that we are not responsible for any delays due to customs clearance, customs inspection, etc.

About Return & Exchange

A: We have a strict inspection system, but in the unlikely event such as the product is defective etc, please contact us within 7 days from your receipt your shoes.

We will repair or replace it at our expense such as shipping fee. However, please note that we cannot return or exchange it after use.

A:

(1) Returns

・ We will accept returns only in special circumstances such as defective products or problems with fittings.

・ Returns related to product defects will be handled at our expense.

・ We ask that the customer bear the shipping fee for returns due to other fitting problems (except in the case of defective products).

・ If there is a request for return, the customer should contact us by e-mail within 7 days after the item arrives. If it is more than 7 days from the date of arrival, we may not accept the return.

・ If there is a problem with the fitting, as soon as we confirm the return of the good product from the customer, we will send you a coupon equal to the purchase price of the returned product.

・ The shipping fee when returning to our company will be borne by the customer, except in the case of product defects.

・In principle, refunds will not be made except in the case of defective products.

・If there are other special circumstances that should be refunded, we will refund only if it is recognized that the refund should be made in accordance with our internal regulations.

・ Regarding the refund amount, unless it is caused by our fault such as product defect, the difference amount (calculated in Japanese yen) after deducting the actual cost until the refund date, such as shipping and handling fee, will be transferred to the customer.


(2)Exchange

・Since one kimono is used for exchange, it is not possible to exchange the same pattern and kimono.

・If there is a problem with the fitting, as with the above return method, as soon as we confirm the return of the good product from the customer, we will send you a coupon equal to the purchase price of the returned product. It will be exchanged by re-purchase with the coupon.
